CONTEST IS CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY!
HURRY, HURRY, HURRY! CONTEST ENDS TONIGHT AT 9PM EST!
I am so excited to be doing my very first Giveaway!
I received my goody box from My Blog Spark last Tuesday! The kids were all so excited to open it and see what was inside! It included a full size box of Trix Swirls, Tie-dyed colorful apron, set of watercolor pencils, Watercolor paints & extra paintbrushes, Trix Sketch book and a Trix Art Supply box. The kids immediately wanted to try out the new art supplies! We put the box of cereal in our camping food tote to eat while we were on vacation (we were leaving that afternoon for 6 days). The watercolor pencils are pretty cool, you color with them like a regular pencil then use the paintbrush with water and go over it to make it look like a water color painting!
The cereal is very yummy. I have always loved Trix Cereal! Each Trix puff has a swirl of two fruity flavors and colors! The flavors are Berry Berry Blue, Rasporangey Orange and Lemony Green. The bonus is that it is a good source of Calcium and Vitamin D, something all of us moms want in our cereal! I would definitely buy this cereal again for my family.
You can find more fun and information about the new Trix Swirls at Trix World!
Now to the Giveaway! I have 2 Gift Baskets to give away to my lucky readers! Each will contain the following:
Box of Trix Swirls
A Tie-dyed colorful apron
A set of watercolor pencils
Watercolor paints & extra paintbrushes
A Trix Sketch book

ReplyDeleteBTW, I also just became one of your fans on Facebook.
My favorite cereal was Pebbles. My mom wouldn't buy it due to the amount of sugar it has, but my grandma always had it stocked for our weekly visits to her house... we really looked forward to breakfast at grandma's house :)

my fav cereal is frosted flakes
ReplyDeleteI am surprised to find such a glowing review of a sugar cereal. This is made with extruded slurry of grains and other things that is processed into shapes by forcing it through dies at high heat and force. It denatures any goodness in the food to start with and then it is sprayed with synthetic vitamins that your body has a hard time absorbing. Not to mention the oodles of refined sugar (which these days is genetically modified as is probably the grain) and artificial flavors and colors made in a lab that have been shown to cause problems in children. I would not call that something healthy for a mom to feed her kids. Want to say it was a nice treat and you enjoyed it, it taste good. That I can understand, but to actually think it is a good option for breakfast (the most important meal of the day) and that it is healthy cause it has added vitamins and calcium in a form you body can't even digest, do a little research on it first!!
ReplyDeleteI do think the art supplies are a great thing and even my kids would enjoy them!! It is nice to have something that allows kids to express their inner artist and to not be on TV or computer or video games (which have been what my kids want to do ALOT this summer).
Sorry to be so harsh, but it shocks me when people think cereal (in just about any form) is healthy and even more so when it is junk, sugar, colored, flavored cereal. That is "phood" not food.
Even though it makes me kinda cringe now, my favorite cereal was fruity pebbles. Ooh, and count chocula. Ooh, and trix. Hmmm, anything with sugar?
ReplyDeletewell hey! I should read more closely on these things huh? Who knew I could get TWO more entries for doing something I would have anyway a.k.a follow and promote. You rock!
