Happy End of Summer and I am back from my Blogging break!!

Well after taking most of the summer off from blogging, I am back! I enjoyed the extra time with my family. I have a hard time sitting at the computer when it is so nice outside. We spend most of our weekends up north camping and just spent a couple days in Chicago with the kids! They had never been and we all had a blast! School starts today in Michigan, so now it's time to get back into the swing of things. Preschool daily at home for my youngest and I plan on getting back into the deal, coupon and freebie finds! Look for me to slowly start blogging here again.

Happy New Year and I'm Back!!

Woo Hoo, I'm back to the blogging world. We finally purchased a new laptop yesterday and I am so excited to start blogging again on a regular basis. I will be bringing you deals, coupons, freebies, samples and even some new reviews and giveaways!

I hope every one's holidays were wonderful like mine.

I think I am back!

Well I have been MIA for awhile now due to major computer issues. I am now using my sister in law's extra laptop. Hoping to purchase a laptop of my own soon.

I am hoping to get back to posting on a more regular basis. I recently started a daycare out of my house and I am getting myself on a schedule. Posting will probably still be sporadic thru the end of the year. Bear with me!!

Craziness and sickness

Just wanted to let everyone know why posting has been a little slow the last few days! We are in the middle of redoing our kitchen and dining room, which comes with many trips to Lowe's and Menards, as well as my 2 year old was diagnosed with Bronchitis on Sunday and I had to take her back to the ER this morning. She has not gotten any better and was actually acting worse. When we got to the ER she had a temp of 104! She is doing better tonight, but has a slight case of pneumonia as well! We have started breathing treatments and a new antibiotic. Her fever likes to keep spiking on me. Prayers would be great! I want my baby girl back to her old busy self soon.

I'm back, well sort of...

As you have seen, I have pretty much been missing in action this week. Hubby and I got back from our long weekend away on Monday night. I took Monday off to get laundry done and spend some time with Emily, who ended up having the stomach flu while we were gone. Guess what!? Emily was kind enough to share with me and I came down with the flu in the middle of the night on Tuesday. I am starting to feel somewhat better but my energy level is zapped.

I will post a few freebies, coupons, etc. for you today but things will probably be a little slow. Hope everyone is having a good week.

Busy week for me!

It was just one of those weeks when I was not on the computer very much. I decided on Sunday to make a list of things that needed to be done around my house and I worked really hard to check them off my list! I am happy to say that I had a very productive week at home, not so much on here.

I promise I will be back next week with lots of deals, coupons and freebies! I have 2 giveaways that will start next week. One is for Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce and the other is a set of Children's books from Joy Berry! I also have a few more giveaways in the works! =)

I am taking this weekend off to head up north (to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) with my hubby for a much needed mini vacation. Today is my birthday and I told my hubby that I wanted a getaway with him as my present. We are staying at the Kewadin Hotel and Casino in St. Ignace. We have stayed there before and it is very nice. We are also planning on doing some snowmobiling too! Hopefully we will be leaving soon, as we have about a 4 hour drive ahead of us pulling a snowmobile trailer.

Off to the Zoo!

I won't be posting till later today due to me volunteering with my 9 year old step son's class who is going to the zoo! They are spending the week behind the scenes working and learning about the animals! Should be fun! See you all later! :)

Slow day for blogging, but I'm Back!

Sorry I have not really posted much in the last day or so. Been busy. We finally sold our truck yesterday and scrambled to find something new to drive. So that is what we did yesterday. We found a truck we both liked and so today we headed back to buy it! We ended up being able to pay cash, so no loan and no payments! woo hoo! We bought a 2002 Yukon XL and it has so much more space in it! I call it my "Monster Truck" because it is huge! We need a big 4x4 because we own a camper and snowmobiles plus we both hunt and use it out in the fields! Anyways posting should return back to normal and look for my Giveaway to start sometime tomorrow!! Thanks for being patient!

Off to pick Pumpkins!

My brother in law Nick started a pumpkin patch this Spring and it is now time to pick them Pumpkins! He planted 4 acres! It should be a fun day with family and friends. If your local and looking for some nice pumpkins let me know! Wishing the weather was a little nicer here in Mid Michigan! Cloudy and drizzle makes for a day of muddy little ones!

What a day!

Ok, I am back! I think God has a different plan for us or he is trying to teach me patience! So not to long after I posted that we were heading out to look at a truck, I had my husband call to make sure they still had it since it was an hour away, they had already sold it! So onto a different plan. We started looking for others online and I got a call from my Dad, he was stranded in East Lansing. Their truck broke down on the way to one of his doctor appointments (He has Prostate Cancer). So we told them to stay put (lol, like they were going to go anywhere) and we went and picked up a big trailer from my father in laws house to bring their truck home. Couple hours later everyone is home. So back on the Internet we start looking for more trucks. We have our Dodge Durango up for sale and would really like to sell it instead of trading it in, because we know we should be able to get more for it. We got a call today and have a couple very interested and they are coming to look at it tomorrow! Yippee We washed it and cleaned it out and it is looking pretty. THEN... My husband just called me to let me know that he hit a deer! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH He hit a deer with the truck that we are trying to sell! But he did just call me back and says that the he thinks that it is just the light and blinker light and there does not seem to be anymore damage. He thought the fender was bent. So we should be able to replace the lights for less than our deductible tomorrow, before the couple comes to see the truck. What a day! So hopefully tomorrow goes better for everyone and we can sell our truck! Then we just have to find one to buy.

Been a really busy weekend and I did not get much time to post anything and now that my hubby has the day off we are headed out to look for a new vehicle! Hopefully we will come home with a new Suburban or Yukon XL, well new to us, we are not buying new and are paying cash so we don't have any payments! Wish us luck, I really hate car shopping. I will hopefully be posting pics of my new truck later! Yippee

Surgery went great! Home and Resting.

Everything went well yesterday! I was home around 5pm yesterday and slept for about 3 hours! I was really struggling with coming out of the grogginess. The doctor said I only had one gallstone in my gallbladder but it was huge like the size of a boulder (bigger than a marble)! I am feeling pretty good today, slept well last night and eating better today. Thanks so much for every ones thoughts and prayers. I am really hoping to be feeling much better after I recover. Kyle has been great, waiting on me hand and foot and taking care of Emily. I struggle with letting people do everything for me, but decided it was nice for a change to just sit and do nothing! Now I feel a nap coming on, pain meds make me drowsy. Talk to everyone soon.

Having Surgery on Thursday!

I will probably not be posting much the next day or so. I am going in to have my Gall Bladder removed on Thursday, June 25th. It's an outpatient surgery so I should be home late afternoon on Thursday. I hope to return to my normal posting of great freebies, coupons and samples very soon. I am also hoping that having my gall bladder removed will make me feel much better. I am tired of feeling bad! See everyone soon!
