Off to pick Pumpkins!

My brother in law Nick started a pumpkin patch this Spring and it is now time to pick them Pumpkins! He planted 4 acres! It should be a fun day with family and friends. If your local and looking for some nice pumpkins let me know! Wishing the weather was a little nicer here in Mid Michigan! Cloudy and drizzle makes for a day of muddy little ones!

I know it is only September but October is right around the corner and that means Halloween is too! I love carving pumpkins with the kids every year, but honestly I am not too good at coming up with creative faces or designs, but this year I am going to use a stencil! My husband's family (large family of 17 aunts and uncles and tons of cousins) are having their 2nd annual Pumpkin Carving Contest and I want to WIN! I think I will have a chance if I use a stencil, not a chance if I go with my standard face that looks like my 22 month old carved it!
