Craziness and sickness

Just wanted to let everyone know why posting has been a little slow the last few days! We are in the middle of redoing our kitchen and dining room, which comes with many trips to Lowe's and Menards, as well as my 2 year old was diagnosed with Bronchitis on Sunday and I had to take her back to the ER this morning. She has not gotten any better and was actually acting worse. When we got to the ER she had a temp of 104! She is doing better tonight, but has a slight case of pneumonia as well! We have started breathing treatments and a new antibiotic. Her fever likes to keep spiking on me. Prayers would be great! I want my baby girl back to her old busy self soon.

Off to Great Wolf Lodge!

Great Wolf Lodge was kind enough to invite my family up for a complimentary stay! There will be 9 other mom bloggers from Michigan there as well! This weekend is the kickoff to their Snowland and there is a lot of extra fun Christmas activities going on. We are headed up North this early Saturday morning. The Beautiful Manistee River!


Well I survived another Camping Trip! Just spent 5 days in Grayling Michigan. We had a blast. We did a 7 hour Kayak trip down the Manistee River on Sunday. It was beautiful and so peaceful!

I am planning on returning to normal posting tomorrow. I am working on the task of huge amounts of laundry and putting food away. I am really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight! It's always nice to go away on vacation but it's even nicer to be home! Now it's time to find all the great deals, freebies and coupons that are out there!

I am taking the weekend off from posting! We are headed out to camp at my sister in laws house. We will be participating in the local parade and going to a 4th of July party. Happy 3rd Anniversary Kyle!

Today is our 3rd Wedding Anniversary! Like I always say, time flies when your having fun! We have accomplished a lot in the past 3 years, with the biggest being our daughter Emily Ann! I love seeing Kyle with her, he is such a great Daddy with her and our older children as well! Nothing better than seeing him interact with them. When I think of all the things that I have done since Kyle and I have been together I am amazed! He brings out the adventurous side in me. I now hunt, kayak, camp, and snowmobile! The best thing about all that is that we do it together, as a couple. It's quality time spent together as a married couple. I know this only makes us stronger. Having a husband who likes to be home and spends so much time with his family is awesome. He does have his own hobbies too! He plays on a golf league every Thursday. I know that it is still important to have "me" time in a relationship. I am looking to growing old together! Some day we can retire and move Up North!

We were suppose to be going to Sault St. Marie this weekend to stay at the Kewadin Casino and Hotel but we decided to postpone for now since I am having surgery on Monday. I also did not want to get 5 hours from home and have another Gall Bladder Attack like Memorial Weekend. So I'm sure we will do something fun locally this weekend, maybe dinner and some miniature golf!! :)

I love you more every day Kyle. Grow old with me, the best is yet to be!

Happy Memorial Day! A little early!

We are headed up north (Michigan is a great state for camping)to go Camping this weekend. We will spend the weekend camping in Grayling near the Manistee River. My husband plans on doing some fly fishing. I'm hoping to get some kayaking in too. Our friends Sally, Jesse and Lily are coming along too. Looking forward to an electronic free weekend!
