Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop Review and Giveaway!!

I am not a huge fan of cleaning, but I do like to have a clean house so I HAVE to clean (nobody else seems to care or do it around here)! We recently installed new Cherry Hardwood Flooring in our kitchen so I have been searching for that perfect way to get it clean without much hassle. I had been using a spray mop that I liked, but I did not like having to buy the pads and the solution. It gets expensive and I don't like the extra waste it creates!

Well, let me introduce you to my newest BFF! The awesome people over at Rubbermaid recently sent me a new Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop to try out.


Is it possible to actually enjoy moping your floor? Well, I don't know if I want to go that far, but I do love how simple and inexpensive it is to use my new Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop! Not to mention I love the color! My kitchen has lots of red in it! :)

The Reveal Spray Mop is super easy to use. You can just fill it with hot water, add your favorite floor cleaner or use one of these solutions off the Rubbermaid website!

Just mix two tablespoons of your favorite cleaning solution with water in the refillable bottle, close the cap, and click it into the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop (or use hot water, which I have done several times with great results)!

The reusable microfiber pads that come with the Spray Mop are super soft and plush. I love that you can either wash it by hand or throw it in the washing machine. No more money spent on boxes of pads. I have found that the pad works so much better than the throw away kind. I use to have to sometimes use 2 or 3 pads to get my floor clean, but I can do the job with just one of the Rubbermaid Microfiber pads! Each pad can be washed up to 100 times in the washing machine!

The Reveal's Mop Head is also larger than other brands, which helps get the job done faster. You also won't find any batteries in the Reveal Spray Mop! It has a pull trigger, which saves you money on batteries too!

Marley Jane Jewelry Review and Giveaway!

I love jewelry, but I especially love silver jewelry. I came across a wonderful Etsy Shop called Marley Jane. Marley Jane offers a huge selection of handmade, hand assembled Sterling Silver and Silver Plated Jewelry!

I was excited when I was offered to do a review and was able to pick any piece of jewelry I wanted for my review! I had a hard time deciding. I ended up selecting the A Daisy If You Do Silver Necklace!


I love this necklace and wear it all the time! It goes with everything. The pendant is heavy enough to stay in place on your neck (I hate when you look in the mirror and your pendant is stuck over on the side of your chest!), but not too heavy that it is uncomfortable to wear every day. The pendant is very detailed and has depth to it. I have received many compliments on my Marley Jane Necklace!

This necklace comes standard with an 18" petite ball chain, but you can request other styles or lengths of chain. Just ask and you will get what you want! Marley Jane offers excellent customer service! I ended up going with a different style and longer chain because I don't like my necklaces up to high on my neck!

Emily loves her new shoes and socks. We had to try them on as soon as we opened the box. I like that you can get many different looks out of one pair of shoes! It's fun to match the sock to her outfit. Each pair of socks has 2 different looks just by switching the socks to the other foot! Bonus!!

Xtrema Cookware Review and 10" Open Skillet Giveaway (value $99)!

I will admit to you that I have always had a hard time spending a lot of money on pots and pans! I guess I have a hard time spending a lot of money on anything, that is the frugal side of me. The downside to this is that I feel like you sometimes have to buy a certain item more often because it wears out faster. I learned that lesson by buying cheap flat irons one after another! I was recently sent their 10" Open Skillet! It retails for $99. I love, love, love it! It is sleek and very lightweight. The handle is very easy to hold on to while cooking and does not get hot. The pan itself cooks very evenly and is very deep. You can cook so many different meals in this 10" Open Skillet. I was not sure how it would clean up in the dishwasher after I made Spanish Rice in it the other night, but I stuck it in and it came out all shiny and clean! Bonus, I don't really like having to clean my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher! :)



I really love the fact that cooking in it is very healthy for my family! I mean why go green and start using chemical free cleaners in the kitchen and then cook with a pan that "might" be releasing nasty chemicals in our food?! I am not claiming that I know this for sure, but the reports now days are pointing in that direction

I can see myself buying some Xtrema Cookware in the future. I might not be able to buy it all at once, but can add in a piece here and there! I think that Pots and Pans are one of those places that you might not want to buy cheap.

On-the-Go Inflatable Potty Seat Review and Giveaway!

I am happy to say that my 2 year old Emily is now potty trained! Yippee!! Potty training is one stage that I truly dread. Every child is different and potty trains at their own pace. I was hoping to have her out of diapers and pull-ups before summer and we did it!

We have a pretty small bathroom, so there is not much room for a regular potty chair. The thought of tripping over it in the middle of the night and having to empty it on a regular basis, helped me decide to just use a potty seat on our toilet. I went this route with my older 2 kids and it worked just fine.

Recently, I had the opportunity to receive an On-the-Go Inflatable Potty Seat to review. Well, Emily did, I am scared I would pop it if I sat on it! ;) We have a regular Dora the Explorer hard potty seat that Emily loved to use, but when her new On-the-Go Inflatable Potty Seat arrived in the mail she was super excited. We had to try it out right then! I blew it up and she went potty for me. Yes! We received the pink potty seat with the cute character face on it!



When it came about a month ago, we were still in the middle of potty training and having to really push her to use the potty. She would do it, but not on her own, only if we made her. I really think her new potty seat from On-the-Go Inflatables helped her! She loves the face on her potty seat and when she is using it talks about it's eyes, nose and mouth! She loves that it is soft and pink!

The verdict? I love them and so does Emily! The scent is slight and not overpowering. They are super soft and do a great job of wiping up her sticky cheeks and nose. Emily liked them so much she wanted to carry the pack around the house with her! :) She has been letting me wipe her nose and even doing it herself! Bonus!



I had never tried Boogie Wipes before now (I wish I had), but I will be buying them for future boogie filled days! They really do work better than a regular dry tissue. You don't find the same nose redness and drying out that you get with tissues. I will admit that the next time I am sick, I will be breaking out the Boogie Wipes! I was recently sent a Medibuddy to try out and review. What is a Medibuddy you ask? It is a convenient kid friendly first aid kit that is small enough to throw in a purse, diaper bag, stroller or your vehicle! me4kidz is the maker of Medibuddy. Their mission statement is:

The cute snack sacks I received!

I received 2 sandwich sacks, 2 snack sacks and a twice-as-nice napkin to review. They came in various designs (fabric) and are all super cute! I think my favorite that I received is the cupcake sandwich sack. I love cupcakes (especially eating them!) snackTAXI's are well made. You won't have to worry about anything leaking or falling out of them. Just the other day I packed a PB&J sandwich and some grapes in 2 snacktaxis for a car ride for my 2 year old. I liked just throwing them in Emily's bag and grabbing them out and handing them to her when she was hungry. Normally a ziplock will end up with a hole in it and spill all over, plus they are just so much nicer to look at than a ziplock. Emily loved the different designs on the sacks. One of the snack sacks I was sent has owls on it and she just kept talking about owls all afternoon. It was cute! :)

I plan on buying some more snackTAXIs for my family. I would like to have some that are catered to each person in my family!

I was sent a Floral Tote Buddy to try out and review. It is well made and the floral print is very attractive! The Tote Buddy is very easy to use. The bag itself wipes up easily if something gets spilled on it (I should know, since my 2 year old spilled my can of soda on it while I was writing this review). I plan on keeping my Tote Buddy in my truck, filled with reusable bags. That way when I am at the store I can just grab it and head into the store to do my shopping. When I am ready to check out I can just open my tote buddy and hand the bags to the cashier! Good to go!

I feel so much better about using reusable shopping bags instead of plastic bags. I always feel bad just throwing them away when I get done putting my groceries away. I do tend to keep some, but then I just end up with bags and bags of plastic grocery bags! By using my new Tote Buddy and reusable shopping bags I feel like I am doing my part in keeping plastic shopping bags out of landfills and the oceans!

I will admit to you that we love soda (or pop as we call it here in our house in Michigan). I don't always like the price and I do not like flat soda. I also don't enjoy lugging bags of soda cans back to the store to return for deposit (Michigan has a 10 cent deposit on all their soda cans and bottles). I received a Fountain Jet in Red to review! It arrived on Spring Break and I had a house full of kids. They were all so excited to try it out (so was my hubby and I)! We broke it out and tried it out right away. We made Cola and Orange mango first. It is a very simple and fast process. I like that you can control how much fizz (or carbonation) you put in each bottle. We have played around with it a bit and realized what flavors we like more carbonation or less. The bottles keep the soda fresh and fizzy for days. We took both bottles filled with Orange Mango Soda on our Spring Break getaway a couple weeks ago and even after we got home, the little bit of soda that was left still tasted like it did the day we made it! That can't be said about normal 2 liters of soda after they are opened! Like I said before, I dislike flat soda and won't drink out of a 2 liter bottle after a day or 2 of being open. It usually ends up getting dumped down the kitchen sink. I don't see that ever happening to a SodaStream Bottle!

Everyone in my house (and even everyone who has tried it, ie. nieces, nephews and sister in laws) loves the soda that our Fountain Jet makes! I am going to be buying some more flavors very soon. Orange Mango is my favorite right now, but I will say that the Diet Cola is not bad either. This coming from a Diet Coke addict, who does not like drinking other brands of diet. My only warning about using your Soda Maker is that when you are pouring your flavored syrup in the bottle, pour slowly and tilt the bottle, or you will end up with an explosion of soda all over the counter! :) It does tell you this in the instructions, but silly me forgot and poured the capful of syrup in all at once and ended up wearing the soda and having a big mess to clean up!

The Fountain Jet does not take up much room on the counter and is very lightweight. I love how they have various colors to choose from to match your decor. I was very excited to see they had red, since my kitchen has red accents!
