I have mentioned several times this week about using way to0 many ziplocks or sandwich bags. I am sure that most of us are guilty of this. I was excited to discover a company that is tackling that problem! Let me introduce you to snackTAXI!

snackTAXI makes snackTAXIs. "They are reusable bags for snacks and sandwiches. Use them as you would plastic ziplock bags-they're food movers for a healthy planet!"

Erin Kelly-Dill says the following: I invented snackTAXIs way back in 2003 as a way to stem the tide of plastic ziplock bags that flowed from our house to the landfill when our 3 kids started school! We pack over 500 lunches every year, and had definitely fallen prey to the easy appeal of the ziplock bag.

snackTAXIs are easy too- really! They are made in our home-based workshop by talented (and fun!) local sewers- we are committed to keeping our business local, and will never outsource our labor.

snackTAXIs are a great alternative to plastic bags and wraps, especially when just one reusable bag has the potential to eliminate an average of 1000 plastic bags over its lifetime!

snackTAXI offers several different products. They have snack-sacks, sandwich sacks, twice-as-nice napkins, lunch sacks and bulk/produce sacks! They all come in tons of different designs, there is something for everyone. Have a golfer in your house they have golf designs! Have a girl scout in your home, they have special designs too. I could go on and on, but I will just send you HERE to check them all out!

I received 2 sandwich sacks, 2 snack sacks and a twice-as-nice napkin to review. They came in various designs (fabric) and are all super cute! I think my favorite that I received is the cupcake sandwich sack. I love cupcakes (especially eating them!) snackTAXI's are well made. You won't have to worry about anything leaking or falling out of them. Just the other day I packed a PB&J sandwich and some grapes in 2 snacktaxis for a car ride for my 2 year old. I liked just throwing them in Emily's bag and grabbing them out and handing them to her when she was hungry. Normally a ziplock will end up with a hole in it and spill all over, plus they are just so much nicer to look at than a ziplock. Emily loved the different designs on the sacks. One of the snack sacks I was sent has owls on it and she just kept talking about owls all afternoon. It was cute! :)

I plan on buying some more snackTAXIs for my family. I would like to have some that are catered to each person in my family!

I was sent a Floral Tote Buddy to try out and review. It is well made and the floral print is very attractive! The Tote Buddy is very easy to use. The bag itself wipes up easily if something gets spilled on it (I should know, since my 2 year old spilled my can of soda on it while I was writing this review). I plan on keeping my Tote Buddy in my truck, filled with reusable bags. That way when I am at the store I can just grab it and head into the store to do my shopping. When I am ready to check out I can just open my tote buddy and hand the bags to the cashier! Good to go!

I feel so much better about using reusable shopping bags instead of plastic bags. I always feel bad just throwing them away when I get done putting my groceries away. I do tend to keep some, but then I just end up with bags and bags of plastic grocery bags! By using my new Tote Buddy and reusable shopping bags I feel like I am doing my part in keeping plastic shopping bags out of landfills and the oceans!

I will admit to you that we love soda (or pop as we call it here in our house in Michigan). I don't always like the price and I do not like flat soda. I received a Fountain Jet in Red to review! It arrived on Spring Break and I had a house full of kids. They were all so excited to try it out (so was my hubby and I)! We broke it out and tried it out right away. We made Cola and Orange mango first. It is a very simple and fast process. I like that you can control how much fizz (or carbonation) you put in each bottle. We have played around with it a bit and realized what flavors we like more carbonation or less. The bottles keep the soda fresh and fizzy for days. We took both bottles filled with Orange Mango Soda on our Spring Break getaway a couple weeks ago and even after we got home, the little bit of soda that was left still tasted like it did the day we made it! That can't be said about normal 2 liters of soda after they are opened! Like I said before, I dislike flat soda and won't drink out of a 2 liter bottle after a day or 2 of being open. It usually ends up getting dumped down the kitchen sink. I don't see that ever happening to a SodaStream Bottle!

Everyone in my house (and even everyone who has tried it, ie. nieces, nephews and sister in laws) loves the soda that our Fountain Jet makes! I am going to be buying some more flavors very soon. Orange Mango is my favorite right now, but I will say that the Diet Cola is not bad either. This coming from a Diet Coke addict, who does not like drinking other brands of diet. My only warning about using your Soda Maker is that when you are pouring your flavored syrup in the bottle, pour slowly and tilt the bottle, or you will end up with an explosion of soda all over the counter! :) It does tell you this in the instructions, but silly me forgot and poured the capful of syrup in all at once and ended up wearing the soda and having a big mess to clean up!

The Fountain Jet does not take up much room on the counter and is very lightweight. I love how they have various colors to choose from to match your decor. I was very excited to see they had red, since my kitchen has red accents!

I knew right away I was going to use my new Recycle Flings bin for my Soda cans (For all you fellow Michiganders, do you want to say Pop instead of Soda?). I have a little cubby in my kitchen where I keep my trash can and it fits perfectly behind the trash! Everyone now knows that is where the cans go and I find less cans sitting around my house and kitchen. Even my 2 year old knows where the Soda cans go now! Each Flings Recycle bin holds up to 60 cans and bottles. On average, that’s typically good for about 20 people. Each can that’s recycled versus going to the landfill saves enough energy to power a television for 3 hours. That’s pretty impressive! :)

I am planning on using the Birthday bin for a birthday party this summer for one of my kiddo's parties.

The cloths are very stiff when dry, but when you get them wet they turn into a super soft thick cloth! I love how thick they are. I have used them on my counter tops, stove, kitchen sink, table and even in the bathroom! They also work great on my toddlers face and hands! I love how when they are wet they don't leak extra water. They do the job!

I have been using the products around the house for a couple weeks now and honestly have nothing bad to say about them. I love how easily you can just throw a Auto-Dish Pac into the dishwasher (you don't have to take the wrapper off) and the Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener are cleaning and making my clothes soft! I used the Bathroom cleaner just this morning and it cleaned my counter and around my toilet just as well as any leading brand cleaner I have used previously. I have been using the Disinfecting Multi-Surface cleaner in the kitchen and take peace knowing that I am not preparing food on counters that have unsafe chemicals on them! Geesh, I have been cleaning way to much! ;)

I will definitely buy Seventh Generation products in the future. I love that I am not using products to clean with that are full of nasty chemicals.
