Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce Review and Giveaway! Ends 2/7

I had been hearing about this sauce called Country Bob's for awhile now around the blogosphere! I was very curious and anxious to try some. (I am a big sauce person, anything from ranch to BBQ) So I was excited when the great people over at Country Bob's contacted me about a review and giveaway of their All Purpose Sauce!

Here is a little history about Country Bob's.

In 1968 Country Bob perfected the sauce of his dreams. After years of giving the sauce to friends and family he began to sell it in 1977. On October of 1982 Bob Edson, Terry Eson, Al Malekovic and Reed Malekovic formed a corporation with equal ownership.

The product lineup now includes the following:

Original All Purpose Sauce
BBQ Sauce
Seasoning Salt
Spicy All Purpose Sauce

Country Bob's sent me 2 bottles of their Original All Purpose Sauce to try. Of course I had to test it out and try a little dab on my finger that day. It is good! I guess I was expecting it to taste like barbecue sauce, which it really doesn't. It has it's own flavor. It is tangy, yet sweet!

We cooked some hamburgers with the sauce the other night. We put the hamburgers in a frying pan and poured some sauce in with them. We covered the pan with a lid and let it simmer. The burgers were very moist and really yummy! I am planning on making some meat loaf with it very soon. Last night we cooked some steaks with the sauce in the pan and it gave them a good flavor. This sauce can be used on pretty much anything.

I'm back, well sort of...

As you have seen, I have pretty much been missing in action this week. Hubby and I got back from our long weekend away on Monday night. I took Monday off to get laundry done and spend some time with Emily, who ended up having the stomach flu while we were gone. Guess what!? Emily was kind enough to share with me and I came down with the flu in the middle of the night on Tuesday. I am starting to feel somewhat better but my energy level is zapped.

I will post a few freebies, coupons, etc. for you today but things will probably be a little slow. Hope everyone is having a good week.

Busy week for me!

It was just one of those weeks when I was not on the computer very much. I decided on Sunday to make a list of things that needed to be done around my house and I worked really hard to check them off my list! I am happy to say that I had a very productive week at home, not so much on here.

I promise I will be back next week with lots of deals, coupons and freebies! I have 2 giveaways that will start next week. One is for Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce and the other is a set of Children's books from Joy Berry! I also have a few more giveaways in the works! =)

I am taking this weekend off to head up north (to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) with my hubby for a much needed mini vacation. Today is my birthday and I told my hubby that I wanted a getaway with him as my present. We are staying at the Kewadin Hotel and Casino in St. Ignace. We have stayed there before and it is very nice. We are also planning on doing some snowmobiling too! Hopefully we will be leaving soon, as we have about a 4 hour drive ahead of us pulling a snowmobile trailer.
