I'm sure many of you have been watching the Olympics the past couple weeks. I have really enjoyed them. I think that I actually like the Winter Olympics better than the summer. I love winter and all the fun sports!

I am excited to tell you about a new company I was introduced to by Business 2 Blogger, and their partnership with 3 Winter Olympians! Strapped Belts is a Fused Glass Jewelry business that is located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

John Frechette launched Strapped Belts®, a fused glass products store, in 2008 as a result of life's twists and turns. After his employer went bankrupt, he was "Strapped". Strapped for cash and strapped for a job.

Last week three US Olympic Skiers were training in Jackson after returning from the opening ceremonies in Vancouver. Strapped reached out to the athletes, and offered to get them all blinged out in Strapped gear for the Olympics. The three athletes are Hailey Duke, Megan McJames and Sarah Schleper (Sarah is in her 4th Olympics).

CLICK HERE to head on over to Strapped Belts and check out the great products! It is truly beautiful and unique. John creates items such as belt buckles, earrings, pendants, cuff links and much more.
I like these Translucent Kelly Green Earrings

Hailey, Megan and Sarah will be competing today and Tomorrow for the U.S. in Skiing. CLICK HERE for more info on these wonderful ladies.

Check out this cute belt buckle!

I was able to personally ask John a few questions! Here is what he had to say.

When did you start your company? became an official company in December of 2008 although I have been working with glass for many years!

What is your favorite line of your blown glass products? (Everything is actually fused glass) Some of my favorites are the Team you a chance to show some spirit and have something not many other fans have.

What was your first design? My first design was really boring! The buckles have come a long way, but one of my first was the Jackson Hole Tram that Sarah Schleper has on in the pictures, I made them for the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and they sell them at the mountain!

Do you make the products you sell yourself? Everything is handmade in my Studio in Jackson Hole Wyoming. I do all of the work myself!

Is there anything new you are working on or are planning on in the near future? I have just started to make housewares and will continue to grow this line. I recently listed the first batch on the website and most of them have sold. Keeping stuff in stock seems to be my biggest issue right now.

Is there anything you want my readers to know about you? I am a one man show. I am the artist, owner, marketer, accountant name it and I wear the hat. We are a young company and growing fast. I am also a proud uncle to 18 nieces and nephews (Terry, John, Katherine, Caroline, Joe, Tom, Harley, Micheal, Addie, Bibi, Finley, Gillis, Fitz, Mick, Elizabeth, Christopher, Ian and Henry!)

John is offering special coupon code to my readers that will enable you to receive 25% off your entire purchase! Just use " OLYMPICS " for your coupon code to receive your awesome discount!

Show John and Strapped Belts some love and become a fan over on Facebook!

This post was made possible by Business2Blogger.I was not compensated for this post, however Strapped Belts was kind enough to offer me a $25 coupon for their website! This post and my views on Strapped Belts is my honest opinion, I have no reason to lie! :)
